The self-acclaimed Area Father and entertainer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, on Monday alongside his #OurMumuDonDo protesters stormed the Head Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja.
The protest – which is tagged #BringBackDiezaniAlisonMadueke – is to demand the repatriation of a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke from the UK to Nigeria.
The protest is coming less than two weeks after he led a series of protests to demand that President Muhammadu Buhari either resume office or resign.
Mr Oputa subsequently suspended the protest a day after members of the group escaped lynching in the hands of pro-Buhari protesters at Wuse market, Abuja.
Meanwhile, the former Minister who served under the tenure of former President Goodluck Jonathan is being investigated for a series of multi-billion dollar fraud and money laundering offences in Nigeria, the United Kingdom and America.
