The first trailer for Angelina Jolie‘s anticipated film “First They Killed My Father” has been released.
The Netflix film follows the story of Cambodian author and human rights activist Loung Ung as she recounts the horrors she suffered under the rule of the deadly Khmer Rouge regime, which ended up murdering a quarter of the population.
The script for the film was written by both Angelina and Loung Ung with Angelina also acting as the film director.
Sareum Srey Moch, Phoeung Kompheak, and Sveng Socheata star in the film.
