Creating a Wordpress site can be very Easy and Complicated.
i will try as much as possible to be brief.

Before making a decision of Using wordpress, i believe you must have bought a domain and a webhost, if you havent, you have to firstly Purchase a Domain and a Webhost.

after successful Purchase of a Domain and Webhost, you have to Login into your cPanel account Using you site ex (yoursite.com/cpanel)
scroll down to Softaculous and Click Wordpress
upon clicking, softaculous will open wordpress like

Click Install Now, a menu will appear where you are to fill in the necessary data, please note that whatever you fill in is what your site will look like but can be changed in the dashboard settings except the directory in which you stored Wordpress.
if you want Wordpress to be your main Site, Under the "in Directory" option, it is default set as "WP" delete it.
i prefer you leave that aside because it can be changed later from your dashboard to avoid certain inconveniences.
click install and wordpress will be installed on your preferred site and after successful installation, it will provide you with two links
to avoid hackers and spams and to tighten security install plugin "reCaptcha for Login"

Delete wp if you want your site to be Controlled by WordPress[/caption]
then after Filling up the form, Choose a theme at the bottom last.i prefer you leave that aside because it can be changed later from your dashboard to avoid certain inconveniences.

- http://yoursite.com ---- this leads to your new wordpress site
- http://yoursite.com/wp-admin ----- this leads to your dashboard.
