Bluepearl Services International, organizers of African Fashion and Design Week, is proud to announce that the Nigerian edition of the Business of Fashion Seminar, will take place on Thursday October 5th, 2017 at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The seminar themed, “Building a successful career in fashion: Secrets from the experts” will offer young talents the opportunity to learn the basic foundation of building a fashion brand and earning a sustainable living; and the careers that are available in the fashion industry.
Speakers at the event will include:
Jane Michael Ekanem: Fashion Entrepreneur and Fashion Stylist. She is a renowned stylist and designer who has styled celebrities, musicians, media personalities and public figures. She was recently featured on CNN African Voices.
Sandra Odige: Editor-in-Chief/Publisher, of one of the nation’s foremost fashion/lifestyle publications, La Mode Magazine
Lola Emeruwa-Taiwo: Founder and CEO, LE Retailer. She is a retail management consultant worked across the board in various sectors, such as PR, marketing, events, visual merchandising, buying and selling for Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, Net-A-Porter and other brands.
Olamide Olarewaju: Olarewaju is a brand strategist, P.R expert and journalist. She has been writing professionally since 2010 after a brief stint in banking. She is currently the Style/Fashion Editor, at popular online news and entertainment publication, Pulse.NG.
