NEWS : Nnamdi Kanu challenges court oder tagged IPBO as a terrorist organization

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) movement, Nnamdi Kanu has moved to challenge the court order declaring IPOB a terrorist organization, Premium Times reports.

Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor revealed this in a statement issued on Friday claiming the motion has been filed already.
The lawyer added that his client, whose whereabouts has been unknown since the violent crisis in Abia started two weeks ago, was not allowed fair hearing and that the court lacked the jurisdiction to grant such an order.

Ejiofor in the motion argued that IPOB is a non-violent organization, therefore the decision by the Abuja High Court to issue the order is illegal.
He added that his client was not given fair hearing and the court lacked jurisdiction to give that order.
