Catastrophe as Four teenage girls drown in Jigawa Pond

The occurrence happened ‎towards evening when the young ladies endeavored to swim over a dormant lake at Farantama area under Albasu neighborhood legislature of Kano state. 

The girls‎, Sumayya Gadi, 7, Zuwaira Abdulhamidu, 12 , Ummi Sa'adu, 11, and Gaji Sa'adu, 12, separately, were said to have been sent on errand by their folks to get firewood from the neighboring shrubs when news broke to individuals from the town that their wards were dead.
