Eyewitnesses allege Minister of Labour Chris Ngige attacked a Carpenter with his “Staff” in Lekki, Lagos | WATCH

As per the recordings shared, Ngige supposedly beat the man with his "staff" till it broke, with his (Ngige's) security controlling him eventually. 

The asserted casualty, a craftsman, who said he was requested to deal with the land by his manager, one "Mr Tope" of PPIP LVI two structures over a vacant land, said this happened on Chibo Ofodile in Lekki Phase 1, the BellaNaijarian said. 

The man said he was requested to stop work and he consented decisively, however the clergyman continued to hit him more than once with his "staff".
