An overwhelming protest occurred today in Rivers state over the Black residue air contamination issue tormenting the state.
The protest was organized by the Rivers Civil Society Organization. The group called for an immediate solution to the pollution crisis.
It will be reviewed that not long ago, Governor of Rivers state, blamed the Federal government for being in charge of the issue. He claimed that the Federal government was purposely utilizing the sediment to diminish the number of inhabitants in Rivers state individuals.
He also ordered the attorney general of the state to sue the Federal Government and International Oil Companies, IOCs, operating in the state over the soot.
