Debtor stabs creditor in the throat in Kano

A debtor identified as Aminu Manga, with the help of his friend reportedly stabbed his creditor, Alhaji Auwalu Awaisu, in the throat with a huge nail in Dorayi, Kano.

 

The incident which has left the creditor, Alhaji Auwalu Awaisu hospitalized at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, occurred shortly after he loaned Aminu some amount of money and collected some documents as collateral.

It was gathered that on the day of the incident, the debtor called the victim that he was ready to repay the loan and they agreed to meet at Auwalu’s house, but on getting there, Aminu stabbed him and fled with his car.

The suspects were arrested their creditor’s cry for help, attracted residents of the area who rushed him to the hospital. Here are photos below;






This is coming after it was reported that there was pandemonium in same Dorayi Babba area of Kano state ,after a man was stabbed to death after a heated quarrel. According to reports, the victim was stabbed with a knife following the disagreement and died while he was about to be transported the hospital. The shocking incident was said to have caused commotion in the area as people gathered in their numbers over the issue.

It was also reported that a Kano Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday remanded one Mujahid Sa’idu, 30, in prison for allegedly stabbing one Nura Dalhatu to death. Sa’idu was arraigned on a count charge of culpable homicide, contrary to Section 221 of the Penal Code. The Police Prosecutor, Sgt. Yakubu Galadima, told the court that one Tijjani Dalhatu of Dandago Quarters Kano reported the case at the Jakara Police Station in Kano on July 1
Galadima said that the defendant, residing at Gyaranya Quarters in Kano, at about 8.30 p.m. on July 1, attacked and stabbed the complainant’s younger brother Nura, 25. He alleged that the defendant stabbed Nura in the stomach giving him a deep cut
