Senator Alhassan Stops Buhari's Bureau Over Governorship Aspiration In Taraba

Senator Aisha Alhassan, the Priest of Ladies Undertakings and Social Advancement, has surrendered her situation in President Muhammadu Buhari's bureau with a specific end goal to challenge the 2019 governorship race in Taraba State.

President Buhari was said to have affirmed the abdication in his acknowledgment of her notice through a letter passed on to her dated July 27, yet in addition encouraged her to challenge on the stage of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Last September, Alhassan debilitated that she would not bolster Buhari's second term aspiration because the president had guaranteed to serve just a single term.

She pledged to help previous VP Atiku Abubakar who was still in the APC.

"I wish you well in your aspiration to be legislative leader of your state. Rest guaranteed that all security organizations and in addition INEC will have my full help to lead free, reasonable and straightforward races in 2019."
