Accra Fashion Week, for the first time ever, is about to host the 2nd season edition in 2018 as never done before in Africa.
Earlier in the year we witnessed a host of designers showcase for
the Chilly Rainy edition. And this year we we are set to experience the
2018 Summer Harmattan edition from 3rd to 7th October 2018 at the CFAO
Car Showroom in Airport Accra.
In partnership with CFAO, guest will also be invited to the first ever Car & Fashion Show on Friday, 5th October where fashionistas and press will witness moving cars and fashion models in the same space. The main show on the 6th and 7th October
will host leading fashion brands like Bri Wireduah, Aphia Sakyi, Afre
Anko, Ekua Addo, Mish Mega, Madlyn Mode, MXDonna (Nigeria), Mark Johnson
(UK), Onyx by Valentina (Nigeria) and more, the fashion week is set to
be an all eyes on Africa show.
Although only in it’s 3rd year, the event has proven to be the
leading platform for talented, professional and upcoming fashion brands
in Ghana. The event works with the objective to prove that Ghanaian and
African fashion is far more trendy than imports and aims to connect
local boutiques and press with leading brands.
