Henry Onyekuru believes Nigeria must not only beat Seychelles, but score a lot of goals to make up for their poor start to the AFCON qualifiers.
The Super Eagles sit third on the log, following a 2-0 loss to South Africa at home, while Libya beat Seychelles 5-0 to top the log.
Onyekuru, who plays club football for Galatasaray hopes they can score a lot of goals, as the group may have to be decided on that basis.
“The game here is the most important, not just for me, but also the team. We are looking forward to playing a good game and to also make the country proud with a win,” Onyekuru told media.
“We need to score a lot of goals, we never can tell how that will play out at the end when we look ahead to the next game next month. “Victory here in Seychelles is important,” he concluded.
