Ariana Grande was one of the performers at Aretha Franklin’s funeral happening right now at the Greater Grace Temple, Detroit.

Bae is trending after she delivered a pitch-perfect rendition of Aretha’s “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.



Her delivery was so perfect that Big Sean, her ex who was in attendance, gave Grande a standing ovation.

Backed by a chorus of gospel singers – the Aretha Franklin Celebration Choir, 25-year-old Ariana represented the young generation of music makers influenced by the Queen of Soul.


The lineup for the invite-only funeral service includes Stevie Wonder and Jennifer Hudson, who both sang at Michael Jackson’s funeral in 2009, along with Chaka Khan, Ariana Grande, Faith Hill, Ronald Isley, Yolanda Adams, Jennifer Holliday, Fantasia, a number of gospel singers and Franklin’s son Edward.

Ariana Grande was a last-minute addition to Aretha Franklin’s star-studded funeral in Detroit. She was invited after Franklin’s family saw her moving tribute performance of “Natural Woman” with the Roots on Fallon.

They were so impressed they asked her for a reprise. Grande was joined at the funeral by her fiance Pete Davidson.
