Around March this year, celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji broke the internet when she announced that she was engaged. She went on Instagram with a picture showing her rocking her engagement ring. Many fans went wild with excitement at the news and were eager to know who the lucky man is. Many started making guesses until it was leaked that the lucky man is Sholaye Jeremy, an oil business man from Delta State.

Two months after her engagement announcement, Linda Ikeji broke the internet again with the news of her pregnancy. While fans were happy and rejoicing for her, they were quickly reminded that she broke her celibacy rule. This made many see her as a hypocrite. It became worse when controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo claimed Linda ikeji was not pregnant and that the pregnancy she flaunted was a prosthetic baby bump.
