Meet the real-life vampires who drink human BLOOD

Vampires do exist and true according to the activities of a community of blood suckers which includes Logan South, 31, and Daley Catherines, 30.

Just like the fictional vampires, Logan and Daley avoid sunlight and do conform to other vampire stereotypes. They wake at around 3pm, eat dinner at 3am and return to bed by 8am.

Speaking about what her routine is like, Daley said: “I go to bed around 7 or 8am and wake up around 3 or 4pm.

“I usually check social media and emails first while having breakfast, then go feed and spend time with my wolfdogs as the sun sets.

“Lunch is usually around 8 or 9pm with dinner anywhere between midnight and 3am.”

The couple have been able to gather up to 60 members in their group.

Daley claimed: “The vampire community as a whole is very large.

“An estimated 50,000 vampires reside in the US alone with most all major cities having a primary court or community.

“All communities are run independently with their own methods, laws, and traditions.

“Our court is a democratic structure much like a vampire town hall.

“All of our members have a voice and a vote and all leaders are voted into their positions.

“Our meetings usually start out by introducing any new members and making them feel welcome.

“We follow that with our good news portion where everyone tells us any good things that have happened since the last meeting which starts us out on a positive note.

“Next we move on to any events or fundraisers we have coming up.

“We discuss anything that needs to be voted on, of theres been any issues needing to be discussed.

“We often will pair a workshop of some kind with the meeting as well where an experienced individual will teach a class on something they specialise in.

“We have everything from feeding, energy manipulation, shielding, meditation, and magic workshops.”

Daley hopes that opening up will quash rumours that the group is a “lifestyle choice or religion”.

She added: “Being a vampire is something one is born with and awakens to later in life.

“While we do sometimes enjoy partaking in a vampire lifestyle, it is not the same thing as being a real vampire.

“We also have vampires of every faith and religion.”
