Nicki Minaj Joins Cast Of “Angry Birds 2”
Popular singer and rapper Nicki Minaj has reportedly joined the voice cast of Angry Birds Movie 2 in an unspecified role.
The Sony Animation sequel hits theaters on August 16, 2019.
Variety reports that Minaj is set to join Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, and Peter Dinklage, who will all reprise their roles from the first film.
New cast members include Leslie Jones, Awkwafina, Sterling K. Brown, Lil Rel Howery, Zach Woods, and others.
Angry Birds Movie 2 is directed by Thurop Van Orman and co-directed by John Rice. Charli XCX played a bird named Willow in the first Angry Birds movie.
