The first-ever Johannesburg, South Africa edition of the Global Citizen Festival—Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100—is currently holding today, December 2, at the FNB Stadium, on
Nigerian music heavyweights; Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, D’banj and Femi Kuti join the likes of Jay-Z, Beyonce, Usher and Ed Sheeran on stage at the Global Citizen Festival in South Africa.
The festival, which is a part of the Global Citizens movement to “end extreme poverty,” commemorates 100 years since Nelson Mandela was born.

Pharrell, Ed Sheeran, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Martin, Usher and more will also participate in the festival, which takes place in Johannesburg at FNB Stadium.
Comedian and “Daily Show” star Trevor Noah is the host of the event, with other co-hosts to appear throughout the evening, including Naomi Campbell, Dave Chappelle, and others.
