Just have a conversation.

If your job mobility does not translate to new work experience and salary increase, the movement is just a change in work environment.

3.   Not learning new skillsDon't sit down hoping things will get better. Learn new skills to improve yourself. If you can’t remember the last time you learn new skills in your industry, your career will not only suffer, your lack of skills will also render you irrelevant in the industry.

4.   People hired after you have been promotedWork towards getting promoted. Another sign of a stagnant career reflects in how long it takes you to be promoted. If people that were hired after you got promoted long before you’re considered for it, then you need to start working on yourself.

(Rise Networks) Everyone in an organization has their job duties, but some people tend to have more responsibilities because of their skill, competence and relevance in the organization. If your job duties doesn’t go beyond the basic ones, it means you’re not growing on the job.

6.   Not getting invited to important discussionsIf you're not being invited to important discussions in the office, you need to step up. If your boss or superiors are not inviting you to important meetings about projects, campaigns or other extra activities that may or may not have to do with your work, you should be worried about your career growth.

7.   No one asks for your help or adviceYou should ask yourself how relevant you are at your workplace.
