Ghanaian nurse with Vitiligo goes viral with her #10yearschallenge


A Ghanaian nurse Heikeens Enam who is suffering from Vitiligo has set a new pace for people with disability on social media as she joined the ongoing challenge on social media called the #10yearschallenge.


Taking to her Facebook account Enam shared her photo noting that above all the public stigma associated with her skin disease, she has grown tough above it all.


She captioned the picture she shared: “God is Good. Above all the Societal Stigma. Now And Then Challenge 2009 Vrs 2019 Vitiligo Journey


Vitiligo is a condition in which the pigment is lost from areas of the skin, causing whitish patches, often with no clear cause.


Enam has been living with this condition for quiet years now in Ghanaian community where you will quickly be stigmatized when you are found living with the condition.


Despite her condition, she has been happily modeling and now Vitiligo Advocate in Ghana
