Ken Jeong will be making his Netflix stand-up debut with a comedy special. The show, Ken Jeong: You Complete Me, Ho, was taped in September of last year at the Ice House in Pasadena, California and will arrive on Valentine’s Day. It’s a fitting arrival as the title actually pays homage to Jeong’s wife, Tran Ho.
In the special, Jeong comes full circle and returns to the stage to reflect on how he went from being a doctor to comedy superstar, and opening up about his wife’s battle with breast cancer and how that led to him starring in one of the biggest comedy franchises of all time, The Hangover. Jeong and Brett Carducci will serve as Executive Producers.
In a clip to promote the new project, Jeong took to Twitter with the announcement, speaking into his cameraphone to alert fans to the news. “My family couldn’t be more excited,” he says before turning the camera on his wife and two daughters at the dinner table looking completely disinterested.
Motherf-ck,” he groans before cutting the clip off.
