Manchester United stars Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard and others all turned out for the clubs 20th UNICEF gala dinner on Tuesday, January 22.
Pogba, his teammates all came with their partners as well as the coaching staff to raise a total of £225,000 for charity and the funds for UNICEF is expected to help children all across the world.Since the arrival of former star player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager replacing Jose Mourinho they have won seven straight games.
Their improvement on the pitch means they have closed the race for the final Champions League spot against rivals Chelsea and Arsenal.The players and officials of the club gathered to Old Trafford for a charitable cause as they were well dressed in suits with their partners.
The gala commemorated the 20th season in which Manchester United have been in partnership with UNICEF.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, Solskjaer was one of the key donors contributing £35,000 from his custom shape.Star players at the event included Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo, Juan Mata, Antonio Valencia, David de Gea, Alexis Sanchez and Chris Smalling some of who came with their partners.
