Reekado Banks:- 2 Songs After Mavin Exits, Where Is our Reekado?

It seams the Mavin Record ginger is over
The last time we heard something magical from our favorite Reekado Banks was when he dropped “Blessing On Me” under Mavin Records.
Moving to his own label, he has dropped two songs, “Yawa” and “Maria“ but I sense you don’t even know or you are not even feeling the songs at all.
What could be wrong with Reekado Banks?
Below are some factors we think might be affecting our dear Reekado Banks after exiting his previous label led by Don Jazzy:-

  Team:-

Teamwork is a factor that brings out the best in anybody and it seems the team at mavins know the right thing to do to bring out the best in him and the privilege may no longer be available for him in Banks music.

  The People Around:-

The people around in a well established record label like Mavin will definitely bring out the best in any artiste singed under it. The people around him has a role to play.
You have people to impress you and people you need to prove wrong and either artistes you need to out-do and this might be missing in his new record label.

Experts:-

The question of the equipment, how professional the producers, how good the sound engineers is all matter in the quality of your content.
The guys at Mavin are exceptional e.g Altims, Baby Fresh, Don Jazzy and many other people. You can’t be around these sets of people and get poor results.
The talented artiste around you have influence in your growth directly or indirectly. This might be missing in newly floated record label.

Life As A Label Boss:-

The pressure with being a boss is a huge one. The expectations, task, and all can hinder one’s growth if not properly managed.
When signed under Mavin record, his only focus was to make hit songs but now, his attention is divided as he has to do with a whole lot of things such as promotion, distribution, funding, and other important things which he normally do not have to worry about when he was signed under Mavin.
Can this be the reason behind his poor performance?

Finance:-

Now Reekado Banks has to be bothered about how to source for fund, and how to spend the money on the right things that matters such as promotion, and marketing of the label content.
Finance is actually the backbone of any label who wants to grow and this is something Mavin has been able to take care of.
Now reekado banks has to be bothered about the financial aspect of running a record label and I think this might be the major reason for the setback in his career/ song performances.

Talent:-

For sure, Reekado banks is talented but now standing alone it seems rekey baby was not the talented artiste that we really think he is. Maybe he needs to improve on his sounds, collaborate and join forces with other artistes.
However he doesn’t really need all these aforementioned activities to prove to us that he was really talented when he was signed to mavins.
Or do you think he is not really talented as we used to think, Maybe that was why there a low performance in his career after leaving Mavin?
