Thief caught, whipped, served food & told to clean the canal in Enugu state

A cheat who was captured in an area in Enugu State was, rather than being exposed to wilderness equity, made to clear the grimy canal in the region.







A thief who was arrested in a neighborhood in Enugu State was, instead of being subjected to jungle justice, made to clear the dirty gutter in the area.



As per a Facebook client Richard Blackstone, who saw the episode, the man was gotten, stripped, beaten, even nourished and advised to enable de-to sediment the drain.



Instead of jungle justice meted out to the culprit, the man said it was was better to subject them to community services and the country will be a cleaner place to live in.

He wrote;

“This muscled guy was caught stealing in Enugu , He was whipped small. Afterwards, we bought food for him, gave him two bottles of fanta drinks to quench his thirst and supplied him with one bag of sachet water.

After the thief had eaten to fullness, he was then given a shovel to start clearing the dirty gutter of silts that had sediment there-in for a long time.

Richard wrote further:

He was then given a shovel to desilt the big gutter leading to my poultry farm road in enugu, What a beautiful thing. He doesn’t need to go to jail. I think this is better than killing them or jail, let’s use them to keep our country clean.”
