Governor Kayode Fayemi has selected Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi, chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado Ekiti.
Head, Directorate of Information and Corporate Affairs in the establishment, Bode Olofinmuagun, on Monday affirmed the advancement to newsmen, in Ado Ekiti, yet did not give subtleties.
The customary ruler replaces the Alara of Aramoko Ekiti, Oba Adegoke Olu Adeyemi who held the office for a long time during the last organization of previous Governor Ayo Fayose.
Resulting upon Sanusi's arrangement, the board of the establishment had paid tribute to the Emir in his royal residence in Kano.
