Members of the Abia State House of Assembly, have elected Hon. Chinedum Orji said to be the son of a former governor of the state, Senator Theordore Orji, as the Speaker of the 7th Assembly.
Hon.Orji represents Umuahia Central State Constituency as Speaker of the House.
The election took place this morning, Monday June 10th.
Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu representing the people of Ohafia South State Constituency was elected deputy.
