The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Ogun Area Command, says it has created N1.131 billion income for the month of May.
Interacting with Newsmen on Tuesday at the Command Operational Headquarter at Idi–Iroko, the Area Controller, Michael Agbara stated, with the sum, the command outperformed its monthly target of N643.4 million by N488.3million.
Agbara additionally revealed that the command made 103 seizures, including 38 units of vehicles, 7,030 packs of rice and 372 barrels of vegetable oil.According to him, the command’s anti–smuggling activities additionally prompted the reallocation of 411 barrels of premium motor spirit; 3 units of motorcycle; 1,835 sets of new and 264 sets of utilized foot wears.
