West Ham have made a second summer addition to their goalkeeping ranks after signing David Martin – son of Irons legend Alvin - on a free transfer from Millwall.
Martin will join on July 1 on an initial two-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.
West Ham confirmed last week long-serving stopper Adrian will be released when his contract expires at the end of this month.
He was replaced as back-up to Lukasz Fabianski by another new signing Roberto whose move was announced 48 hours after Adrian's exit.
The arrival of 33 year-old Martin will allow West Ham to send promising youngster, England youth international Nathan Trott, 20, out on loan next season to gain first-team experience.
Martin said: 'Signing for West Ham United is a dream, both for me and my family.
'I've grown up around West Ham and to come to my boyhood club is a dream.
