The Super Eagles of Nigeria are taking on the Desert Warriors of Algeria in a semi-final clash of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

A place in the final of AFCON 2019 is at stake as both Nigeria and Algeria take to the Cairo International Stadium in Cairo.

It’s the 21st meeting between the two sides and faced each other in 2016 and 2019 in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

In Algeria, Nigeria face their stiffest challenge yet in AFCON 2019. The Desert Warriors have the best defence of the tournament with just one goal conceded and have also scored the most goals.

Starting XI

Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr has kept with his starting XI from the last game and that sees Samuel Chukwueze starting on the right side of attack.
