Manchester United have dismissed reports linking the club with a transfer move to sign forward, Inaki Williams from Athletic Bilbao, according to Daily Mail.
Reports earlier on Wednesday claimed that the Premier League giants were willing to trigger the £81million release clause of Williams before Thursday’s transfer deadline as a direct replacement for Red Devils striker, Romelu Lukaku.
The newspaper is now reporting that Man United have distanced itself from those claims, adding that the club’s manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is comfortable with the remaining forwards he has at his disposal at Old Trafford.
DAILY POST had reported that Man United striker, Romelu Lukaku is keen to quit Old Trafford
Man United have reportedly accepted £72 million from Inter Milan for Lukaku.
The Belgium international will complete his exit from Old Trafford after Man United agreed terms with Inter Milan.
The deal includes £12million in bonuses and this is coming after negotiations with Lukaku’s agent, Federico Pastorello in London.
The 26-year-old Belgium striker is expected to fly to Italy and undergo a medical on Thursday.
