Pipeline fire hits Lagos surburb




A pipeline suspected to have been vandalised by oil thieves burst into flames Sunday night at Abule Egba area of Lagos State.
A resident of the area told The Guardian that the fuel from the vandalised pipeline has spread to Katangowa market, not far from Abule Egba.
Spokesman of Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA) Nosa Okunbor confirmed the fire incident.
Okunbor said the level of casualty of the incident was yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
