So prior to this evening, we didn’t know where Jay was until we found out from his sister that he was arrested 54 days ago (May 23rd) because of a harmless tweet he made. He only used Goodluck Jonathan’s picture as his avi and changed display name to “Goodluck Jonathan”. The stuff didn’t even last up to 24hrs before he switched back to his normal display name “BrezzIsLife”.

About two weeks later (May 23rd), he was arrested.

Now, he’s being accused of impersonation and fraud wtf.

We all know parody accounts are a normal thing on Twitter, it is even stated as not against Twitter rules, which means, the App itself gives room for running parodies.

Jay was unjustly arrested, no doubt.

This was the tweet that got him arrested.



Jay clearly stated on his bio at that time that he was “BrezzIsLife, not GEJ” to specify the account wasn’t in any way impersonating GEJ or trying to scam anyone with his name.

Fortunately enough, we have a screenshot of where he stated that on his bio. I’ll attach it to this message
