The Oyo State Police Command on Sunday confirmed the arrest of a Fulani herdsman, Isikilu Wakili.
KHORGIST gathered that Wakili has been accused of terrorizing the people of Ibarapa North Local Government Area of the state.
KHORGIST gathered that Wakili was arrested by the Odua Peoples Congress (OPC) earlier on Sunday.
Wakili was said to have been arrested with four of his children who were accused of shooting the OPC men.
It was gathered that Wakili and his cronies were arrested around 7.am on Sunday.
The State Police command confirmed the arrest of the suspect.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Olugbenga Fadeyi when contacted confirmed the arrest of the suspect.
Fadeyi added that Wakili has been handed over to the police.
When asked if the suspects has been arrested, Fadeyi said “Yes”.
