Popular Country Musician, Troy Gentry is dead. Troy died today in a helicopter crash in Medford Township, New Jersey, just hours before a concert.
The singer, one-half of Montgomery Gentry, was 50 years old. He was Born on the 5th of April, 1967 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.
He was married to Angie Gentry in 1999, had two kids, Kaylee and Taylor Gentry.
A statement shared on the band’s website and Twitter page said: “It is with great sadness that we confirm that Troy Gentry, half of the popular country duo, Montgomery Gentry, was tragically killed in a helicopter crash which took place at approximately 1:00 pm today in Medford, New Jersey.
