We learn that although Grande’s face is being used to promote the Grammys, the pop star isn’t happy that producers won’t let her perform her latest hit, “7 Rings,”. It was reported by Variety that “a compromise was reached whereby ‘7 Rings’ would be part of a medley,” but Grande still opted out after “producers insisted that the second song be of their choosing”.
As at the time of filing this report, Grande who is nominated for two honours at the 61st Grammys is yet to confirm if the reports are true or not and so far there, is no word from the Recording Academy either. Grande is up for Best Pop Vocal Performance (“God Is a Woman”) and Best Pop Vocal Album(Sweetener).
