Remains of a Brazilian model who jumped off her boat to save her drowning puppies has been found in Cigarras Beach, in the northern region of Sao Paulo, on Monday.
Her husband, Jorges Sestini reported her missing after he had spent over three hours swimming in search of her.
The model identified as Caroline Bittencourt was reportedly cruising in a boat with her husband and two puppies when a storm hit them and their boat turned, allowing the puppies to fall into the water. She immediately dived into the water in an attempt to rescue them but the storm was beyond her control.
Her husband also jumped into the water to rescue her but the storm separated them both from each other.
