The event which took place at about 3:00pm was affirmed in an announcement issued on Wednesday by the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola.
As indicated by the announcement, the accident happened while the helicopter was coming back from an enemy of equipped banditry battle mission in the Northwest Theater under Operation Hadaran Daji.
