When is Liverpool’s Champions League victory parade? Date, time and route CONFIRMED

Liverpool have won the Champions League for the sixth time in their history after beating Tottenham 2-0 .
The Reds beat Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid to join the classes of 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984 and 2005.
The Merseyside club saw off Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli, Red Star Belgrade, Bayern Munich, Porto and Barcelona on their way to glory.
Liverpool Council have already released all the details for the trail around the city.
Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson, said: "Even though the Champions League parade would potentially take place on an already busy day in the city, we are working closely with LFC, Merseyside Police, and our travel partners to ensure that all events taking place on June 2 run smoothly and safely so everyone can enjoy our city, and everything it has to offer."

When is the parade?

Liverpool will fly back to Liverpool John Lennon Airport on Saturday night.
But it isn't until 4pm that they will make their public appearance around central Liverpool on the back of a bus.

Where does the parade start?

The parade will start at Allerton Maze before heading north up Queens Drive.
From there the bus will turn left onto West Derby Road and head towards the city centre.

Where does the parade end?

Having travelled up the Strand, the parade will conclude on Blundell Street, close to the waterfront.
Liverpool City Council has advised supporters to spread out through the whole route, though they are currently unable to confirm the exact times the bus will pass each spot.

Will the parade be on TV?

It is unclear whether the parade will be on TV in its entirety.
But Sky Sports are likely to provide regular updates on Sky Sports News.

What about the River Festival?

This weekend is the River Festival in Liverpool which could have caused major traffic issues in the city.
But the organisers have decided to move the festival to a 10.30am start and finish early - before the end of the parade.
