Here's a sad scenario that happened at Equity Bank Uganda church house branch that left many Ugandans angry.
A male patient in critical condition couldn't have access to his money despite sending his relatives to the bank to withdraw his money and pay his medical bills at Norvic Hospital.
He had to be carried in an ambulance to the bank such that the bank managers confirm that he's really sick yet they had shown them photos of him bedridden.
Was Equity Bank right to protect his money or just callous and heartless about the sick old man?
